Hey all! I finally signed up on the forums after watching the Udemy videos twice through lol.
I'm a cyber security analyst for a company NYC (brand new to the area!) and am attempting to improve my people skills beyond being able to related to the other geeks in my department. Keeping a conversation going with both men and women is a hard thing for me to do and it seems like my ability to pick up on some of the body language signs and express my body language is helping with that a little bit.
What I'm struggling with is actually having a non-work environment to practice reading others while being able to attempt to put the concepts into practice myself. I have a HUGE issue with crossing my arms, which I'm trying to work on, but just can seem to find other poses that are comfortable and feel natural to replace that habit with.
Help finding a new stance would be great!
