- My name is Peter Nurman and I have always been a lifetime student.
I am many things. On the academic side, my education ranges from the IT field(Associate and Software Engineering to a BS. in Technical Management), Diploma as Physical Therapy Technician with a specialization in personal training which I continued to be certified through StrongFirst which is a company that certifies kettlebell instructors, and lastly, I went through a Health Information Technology(HIT) also know as Medial Coding. I also served in the military for 4 years. I boarded my ship on September 11, 2001.
My story varies,
By profession, I am a personal trainer, specializing in kettlebell training and I am a mobility specialist and I am on a bit of a break due to some back issues I found out about his year, it has limited much of my movement that I am currently getting treated for I am stepping back and pushing reset. Going through the Mastering Your People Skills, as well as The Power of Body Lanangues, has helped me reset and reevaluate everything. My turnover for work seems to be about 4 years or less due to not being a good fit for a job or like my recent development, mentioned above, gives me the opportunity to explore more avenues that allow for flexibility.
For skill sets(not sounding too much like the guy from Taken):
I have had a unique skill that I have developed over the years.
Beginning at the age of 5, I had the ability to remember dreams I have had (and for those interested, I can tell you my first dream I was able to recall at that age.). As these skills developed both naturally and through reading books such on subjects such as "Remote Viewing", and book titles such as: "Embraced By The Light" by Betty J. Eadie, and "Saved By The Light", by Dannion Brinkley, and lastly, "Life After Life" by Raymond A. Moody allowed me to further develop my skills to interpreting dreams from the years of 1994 through 1998 where I have interpreted more than 500+ dreams with 90% accuracy on ASU's Aztec Dreaming message board. I messaged these people privately asking for consent for those who consented I asked them not to tell me anything about themselves.
For my interpretation, I used one source, a Dream Dictionary as my baseline looking up the meaning of each symbol then I gave my interpretation. In the majority of accounts that I had responses from, my interpretations had greater accuracy, since my last dream interpretation was 18 years ago, my best guess is that I would say my accuracy was in the mid-70's low-80 percentile more accurate than that of the Dream Dictionary I would use. In terms of content similarities, my best guess would be around 15 to 20% unique, meaning though there were similar content descriptions, the descriptions I gave expanded and more accurately represented that particular dreamer's dreamscape compared to what the Dream Dictionary had described for that similar symbol.
My abilities have expanded towards energy work now. People have found it surprising that I can read, sense, and interpret energy both for people and various environments. Because energy is always fluctuating, accuracy for this area will vary. If you are looking for figures, I have been 100% accurate with interpreting both energies both with people and environments to 0 to 5% and usually for these particular ranges.
In terms of people, I have found 3 factors though there are more, I found these are the 3 main reasons
1. They block their energy because they are guarded
2. Their energy is low. This could be due to environmental factors
3. They are unaware of these levels.
For environments, this would best be described as the collective(or average) of the people who establish that space. Much like the example that you gave in your Master Your People Skill course where it was mentioned how influential high energy and low energy people affects those around them, it also affects the environment and that energy lingers. So, when you walk into a room after a person has left and you get that cold feeling, most likely there was a low energy person in that room and this would differ compared to someone who just has a bad day or someone who feels out of place.
My story to say covers quite a bit at a young age, I'm in my late 30's now.
I would like to be a Body Language trainer because this would get me out of my comfort zone. Much like your Silence exercise you do each year, this course would be beneficial because it would get me out of my comfort zone so I can learn to be more comfortable talking with large groups of people. The most I am able to interact with without feeling overwhelming is about 10 people. The most I've taught in my kettlebell class as an instructor is about 5 people. At networking events with the elevator pitch, my limit is 8 past that I start feeling overwhelmed. Watching some of the presentations that were done in a large room like you have as your banner page on Science, I would have fainted or have come close to it. One time I presented I have clenched my fists so hard they turned white and people have also noticed that I locked knees and they were scared I was going to fall.
By learning to become a Body Language trainer and being able to tap more into another part of my personality. I started watching "The Power of Body Language a few days ago and now I am on the 4th lesson of the course. The story that I resonated with was the story that you told about the 20-minute meeting you had and then when you saw the same guy again years later he said he didn't remember you is the way I feel at times and learning how to be a Body Language Trainer, is more for me learning to be comfortable and try to become a better version of me.
