Vanessa, what you have put together here is really something special. Helping people to live fuller, richer lives using tools that are readily and immediately accessible is commendable. You and your team can be proud of what you are doing.
I recently signed up for your "The Power of Body Language" course, and I have been hungrily watching the videos and applying the techniques that you have presented. When I found out that you are offering course to become a body language trainer, I felt as if Christmas had come early. The fact that a course like this even exists is exciting for me. Finally there are scientifically-backed methods to help people get more out of their lives using simple and effective techniques that are available to everyone willing to put in the time to learn and master them.
After having read about you in Chris Guillebeau's book "Born for This," I immediately looked you up (haven't read any further in the book since having found your material, though. There is simply too much to learn from you at the moment.). I then purchased your body language course, and very soon after, I found out that you were offering a course to become a body language trainer. From having read your name in a book to this moment now, in retrospect, it almost seems as if I bought Chris Guillebeau's book in order to apply for your trainer course
Currently, I am teaching high school in the Middle East. Facilitating learning and seeing people light up when they are exposed to new material that is helpful to them is a gift in and of itself. However, these "aha" moments are few and far between in a high school setting. Having the opportunity to teach people who are hungry to learn would be a dream come true. It is a dream that, by being a body language trainer, could become a reality.
Helping people and organizations optimize their own lives is also something that I am very interested in. It is not only something that I am interested in, it is something to which I have dedicated large amounts of time and effort. I completed my masters ("Global Change Management" M.Sc.) at a German university. In my thesis, I created a statistical model to help online platforms (that supported both on- and offline collective action) optimize user experience in order to better facilitate collective action. As a result, the web platforms that I worked with were able to make adjustments that allowed them to more closely follow their respective mission statements and more easily reach the goals that they had set for themselves. Helping people and organizations to help themselves has always held great appeal for me, and I hope that I will be able to further help people help themselves by becoming a body language trainer.
Furthermore, I would like to help you with your goal of having a presence in major cities around the world. After having lived and worked in the USA, Germany, and the Middle East, spreading the message of "The Science of People" and showing people that your techniques are truly cross-cultural would be both a joy and a pleasure.
Helping people and communities has always been a major feature of my adult life. I love to teach, and I love helping people to recognize their own strengths and abilities. By becoming a body language trainer, I would be able to do this and also take the next step on my own entrepreneurial journey.
