Vanessa, I am new to your site and courses, but I am blown away! This course sounds like a perfect start to a fantastic new career in speaking and mentorship, which is exactly what I am building.
I grew up in the USSR, a pathologically shy child and teenager nurtured by loving parents. With their encouragement, I moved to Malta in high school, and three years later I was on my way to freshman orientation in a small town in Virginia. College was a time for excellence, but not self-discovery for me. Despite loving my Psychology major, I went with the other majors of Business and Accounting and got a job at one of the Big Four accounting firms. My career was soaring, but something was missing.
I tried being a stay at home parent and being a doula. I tried working in the non-profit sector and then returned to my career in compliance and due diligence. It took me 33 years to realize that I need to be working for myself. I am incredibly excited about this opportunity to join a group of brilliant people learning the science of body language. No doubt, I will love adding "Body Language Trainer" to my credentials in my endeavor to mentor women navigating their life.
As a bilingual speaker, I have a unique perspective and would love to learn more about the international aspects of body language. I notice a huge difference in the ways that Russian and American people express themselves and I cannot wait to learn more!
