I love INTJs, Monique! Okay, I love everyone, but I really love INTJs! INTJs tend to understand me automatically somehow, and I "get them" too. Brainstorming for ideas with them is the BEST! Do me a favor and slap the people who "play" with your emotions. It's universal body language for "don't mess with me!" Try it, it works.
Every personality type has a set of functions, represented by the letter "e.g. N" and whether they are extroverted or introverted functions, represented by a lowercase "e" or "i". As an INTJ, your functions are in order:
Ni -- Foreseeing implications, transformations, and likely effects
Te -- Segmenting, organizing for efficiency, and systematizing
Fi -- Valuing and considering importance, beliefs, and worth
Se -- Experiencing and acting in the immediate context.
This is the order in which you take in information, process it, and make decisions. Typically your Ni will be most developed, although your Te is easily accessible too. If both of those don't work, you'll utilize your Fi. Se will be less developed, which might result in a struggle to implement practical steps here and now. With Ni and Te, you probably prefer to deal with the future than with the present. (Me too.)
We share two functions, Te and Fi, although mine are in the opposite order. That's most likely where I "click" with INTJs most commonly, although iNtuition is important too.
Let me know if any of that was confusing!
