Anti Boring is the way to GO!!
Vanessa you forgot your skeleton leggins too.
I have some wearables myself that have caught attention, though some are "inappropriate" they still have made me some good memorable conversations!
I used to work for an independent hip hop label and my sole purpose was to be the people person, at any gig try to make connections that would get us more opportunities. This was my favorite shirt to wear and it would get me a lot of attention, From far away it just looks like a gun sling which still looks cools, but if you look closer the guns are made out of a mic and turn tables. Perfect for my music enthusiast.
This one may be the inappropriate one if approached from the front but most of compliments have been when read form the back (I'm from Texas, they take their pride here serious) and then some see the front and have a good laugh. My best story from this: I was walking into a gas station as I heard the lady clerk reading the back of my shirt to herself, I then turned around and she laughed and said "ain't that right it's all that BBQ!" as she proceeded to turn around and smack her own behind... I had a pretty good laugh myself.
This brand comes from a young entrepreneur out of Vegas who I had the pleasure of meeting one time here in Texas. He started this brand as a Twitter account dishing out the ugly truths about life and relationships. Turned it into apparel and last I checked on him he's gotten big on digital branding ( @vvanedwards I'm inviting him to your webinar! ). I got into the brand way before I found out my Myers Briggs personality ENTJ or as the results mentioned:
The underlying thought running through the ENTJ mind might be something like "I don't care if you call me an insensitive b*****d, as long as I remain an efficient b*****d".
One of my other conversation starters come from my EDC(everyday carry) gear. I always have this stuff on me just because I know it comes in handy when no one else would have it accessible on the spot. My key chain alone has different tools: my swiss army has scissors and tweezers and those always are needed, flashlight, my shard that's TSA approved has different tools on itself, my emergency ring that can be used to cut seat belts. My lanyard is made out of 550 tested para-cord that can be undone to 25' of cordage to tie things up. My expandable pen that goes everywhere, always carry a writing utensil. My night ize headphone tie, people are always amazed when I can pull out my headphones from my pockets without the tangled mess, and it has a clip on it so I can attach it to my bag. My wallet/money clip has always gotten attention too, its got a small blade that comes in handy with birthday presents or packages.
All of this gear has either been a quick relieve in a tight spot or great for offering and starting conversation.
and last I stumbeld upon(the website) this belt that doubles as a charger as well!
